Is AIApply Legit or a Scam? A Weekly Price, a $199 Charge

AIApply homepage showing its Auto Apply job application tool and its claim of more than two million users

AIApply’s help centre admits something most pricing pages never would. A weekly price sometimes appears on the platform, it says, and that figure is “only an illustrative breakdown of the cost, not an actual billing frequency.” Weekly plans don’t exist. The largest Auto Apply plan is one $199 charge for three months, and a Trustpilot reviewer on September 11, 2026 described the result: €14 per week on the panel, then €171 due up front.

Our verdict is Caution. AIApply is a registered UK company with a working product and a 4.3 Trustpilot score, so “scam” is the wrong word. The problems are narrower: how the price is shown, a refund window measured in minutes, a bot that answers salary and visa questions in your name, and a new sideline that appears to offer its two million job seekers to AI labs.

Is AIApply legit or a scam? What the company record shows

AIApply is run by AIAPPLY LIMITED, company number 15200716, incorporated in England on October 10, 2023 and listed as active at Companies House. Its registered office is in Leicester, payments run through Stripe, and the terms of service (version 2.2, September 7, 2026) name the company and a data protection contact.

Its marketing numbers are shakier. The homepage claims 2,064,348 users and says 61% of them get an interview within 10 days, with no method given. The terms guarantee no interviews at all.

AIApply pricing: the weekly figure, the real charge and the add-ons

There’s no public price list. On October 7, 2026, aiapply.co/pricing sent us back to a homepage with no dollar amounts on it. The figures below come from AIApply’s help centre article on plans and charges. We didn’t create an account, so the weekly display rests on AIApply’s own admission and on reviewers, not on a checkout screen we saw.

What you buyPriceHow it’s charged
Auto Apply, 100 applications$49Monthly ($0.49 per application)
Auto Apply, 250 applications$99Monthly (about $0.40 each)
Auto Apply, 750 applications$199Every 3 months, all at once (about $0.27 each)
Tailored resume, tailored cover letter$12 eachMonthly, two more subscriptions
Premium toolkit$29 or $144Monthly or yearly
Interview Buddy$19 or $99Monthly or yearly

Add it up. The cheapest Auto Apply plan with both tailoring add-ons, Premium and Interview Buddy comes to $49 + $12 + $12 + $29 + $19 = $121 a month, across five subscriptions that each renew and each have to be cancelled separately.

Spread over 13 weeks, $199 is about $15 a week, close to what reviewers say they were shown. There’s no free trial, according to a help centre answer dated August 5, 2026, although two September reviewers say they were offered one. Unused applications roll over only while you keep paying.

What is AIApply’s Auto Apply allowed to say for you?

AIApply is a job-search toolkit: resume and cover letter generators, mock interviews, a live interview assistant, and Auto Apply, a bot that finds matching jobs and fills in the application forms. Auto mode submits everything that matches. Hybrid mode submits jobs scoring 70 or higher. Review mode waits for your approval every time.

Filling in forms means answering questions. Two of those answers can cost you.

The salary it submits

AIApply’s salary article says the bot normally sends the minimum you set. When a posting advertises a range in US dollars, it changes your number. In AIApply’s own example you ask for $220,000, the job tops out at $135,000, and the bot submits $135,000. That’s $85,000 under your floor, sent without asking you.

Work authorisation, and accounts you didn’t open

The work-authorisation choice you make at setup is reused to answer every right-to-work and sponsorship question. Get it wrong once and it’s wrong everywhere. A one-star review dated October 1, 2026 describes that outcome: applications claiming an authorisation the reviewer doesn’t hold.

The bot can also open accounts on employer websites, and employer replies land in a dedicated AIApply mailbox, not your own inbox.

The risk sits with you. Section 21 of the terms makes you indemnify AIApply for misrepresentations in applications, and section 20 caps its own liability at the greater of £100 or six months of your fees. US users are bound to individual arbitration. The separate AutoApply User Agreement isn’t linked on the public site, so we couldn’t read it.

If you pay at all, the $49 plan in Review mode is the least you can lose, and it lets you read each answer before it goes out.

AIApply reviews: 4.3 on Trustpilot, and thin pickings on Reddit

On October 7, 2026, AIApply’s Trustpilot page showed 4.3 from 1,917 reviews: 1,257 five-star (66%) against 220 one-star (11%). Trustpilot notes that the company invites its customers to review and has answered 75% of its negative reviews.

The top of that page moves fast: the 20 newest reviews had all arrived in the previous 14 hours, none below three stars. So we read the 20 newest one-star reviews, dated September 6 to October 5.

Ten are about money: renewals nobody expected, refused refunds, charges after cancelling, or a price that looked smaller than the bill. Six say the bot applied to the wrong jobs or sent wrong details. The other four are scattered.

People also search for AIApply reviews on Reddit. On October 7 we found no thread detailed enough to rely on, and the Better Business Bureau site blocked our connection, so neither is quoted.

Be careful with the long written reviews. Four that we read (ResumeJudge, Resumly, Scoutify and JobHire.AI) come from companies selling a rival tool, and AIApply pays affiliates a 30% recurring commission, which gives other reviewers a reason to be kind. We’ve reviewed JobHire.AI and Jobright separately.

Is AIApply safe? Your CV, your inbox and a pool of 2 million “professionals”

The privacy policy (version 2.3, September 15, 2026) is more careful than most: model providers are told not to train on your prompts, and personal data isn’t sold. Application data reaches employers exactly as you entered it, so keep ID numbers and bank details out of your profile.

The new part is what the policy calls derived attributes: tags for your field, qualification level and research experience, worked out from the structured details in your account, including ones pulled from your CV. They decide who gets invited to optional AIApply programmes, and the terms now mention paid contributor programmes.

The destination looks like AIApply Labs. Its page offers AI companies more than 2 million credential-verified professionals for model training work, 750,000 of them engineers. AIApply doesn’t say this pool is its user base, but the headcount matches the homepage and the policy changes point the same way. It’s the kind of AI-training work we’ve covered at Handshake AI and micro1, except that here you signed up for something else.

AIApply sets limits on itself: only structured account fields are used, and invitations go only to people who opted in to marketing. You can also object to the profiling by emailing [email protected], which is separate from unsubscribing. If you joined to find a job and not to be sorted into a labelling workforce, send that email.

One more job while you still have access. The policy says the AutoApply mailbox is permanently deleted three months after your last paid service ends, a help article says the inbox stays available, and a September reviewer says access went at once. Don’t bet on any of the three: open Settings, then Export Data, download your emails as a CSV, and switch on forwarding to your own address.

How to cancel AIApply, and the screen where cancellations stall

These are AIApply’s published cancellation steps as they read on October 7, 2026. We had no subscription to run them on, and flows change.

  1. Sign in, open Account Settings and select Billing.
  2. Find the card for the plan, which shows its cost and renewal date.
  3. Select Cancel below the renewal date.
  4. Answer the questions about why you’re leaving.
  5. You’ll be offered a pause of 1, 2 or 3 months. Choose “No thanks, continue cancelling”.

Until you finish step 5, nothing is cancelled. Close the window at the pause offer and the plan renews as normal.

  • Do it at least 24 hours before the renewal date on the card.
  • Repeat it for every card on the Billing tab.
  • Cancelling doesn’t stop the bot. It keeps applying until the paid period ends unless you also press Pause on the Your Jobs tab.

Refunds are thin, according to the refund policy article and section 10 of the terms. Fees are non-refundable unless a verified technical fault blocked the service, or you report an accidental purchase within 30 minutes and haven’t really used it. Once Auto Apply has submitted applications, there’s no refund, and renewals generally aren’t refunded either. You must contact support ([email protected]) before a refund is considered, so save your Stripe receipts.

FAQs

Is AIApply legit or a scam?

AIApply is legit: AIAPPLY LIMITED is a UK company registered in 2023 with a real product. Our verdict is still Caution because of how prices are displayed, a strict refund policy and a bot that answers application questions for you.

How much does AIApply cost?

On October 7, 2026, AIApply’s help centre listed Auto Apply at $49 a month for 100 applications, $99 for 250, or $199 every three months for 750. Premium, Interview Buddy and the tailoring add-ons are billed separately.

Is AIApply free?

Only partly. A free account covers two mock interviews, the job board and a few cover letters. The resume builder and Auto Apply need a paid plan, and the help centre says there’s no free trial.

Can I get a refund from AIApply?

Rarely. The policy allows a refund for a verified technical fault, or for an accidental purchase reported within 30 minutes. Auto Apply is non-refundable once applications have been submitted.

How do I cancel my AIApply subscription?

Go to Account Settings, then Billing, select Cancel, answer the exit questions and decline the pause offer. Do it at least 24 hours before renewal, for each subscription. Those were AIApply’s published steps on October 7, 2026.
