Is JustDone AI Legit or a Scam? The $2 Trial Bills $29.99

Is Justdone ai legit analysis showing AI tool dashboard, trust indicators, and professional review for users

JustDone AI‘s cheapest way in costs $2 for seven days and then $29.99 a month, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the week is up. The ordinary monthly plan, on the same pricing page, is $19.99. Start with the trial, forget to cancel, and you pay ten dollars more every month than someone who skipped it.

Our verdict is Caution. JustDone AI is a real set of AI writing tools (a detector, a humanizer, a plagiarism checker and more) from a registered company in Cyprus, and thousands of customers rate it highly. It isn’t a scam. Two things need care: how the trial converts, and how much weight you give its AI detector’s score.

What is JustDone AI, and who’s behind it?

JustDone AI lives at justdone.com and runs in the browser. It’s aimed at students and content writers, and it bundles an AI detector, a plagiarism checker, a humanizer that rewrites text to sound less machine-made, a paraphraser, a grammar checker and a long tail of study tools. The pricing page says every plan includes 35+ of them. There’s nothing to install apart from an optional Chrome extension.

The operator is GM Appdev Limited, registered at 15 Nafpliou Street, Limassol, Cyprus, according to the site’s footer and terms. Those terms say the service isn’t meant for anyone under 16.

Is JustDone a good AI checker? Accuracy, and the risk for students

The detector hands you a percentage, and that number is an estimate. JustDone’s own terms decline to promise that results will be accurate or reliable. The caution applies to the whole category: OpenAI withdrew its own AI text classifier on July 20, 2023, citing its low rate of accuracy.

Recent customers describe the failure that matters most. Among the 20 newest one-star Trustpilot reviews we read, posted between August 27 and October 7, 2026, six say their own writing was flagged as mostly AI or scored inconsistently. One was a diary entry. Another was text the reviewer says they wrote twenty years ago.

Keep a conflict of interest in mind as well. JustDone sells the detector and also the humanizer that brings a high score down, so a false alarm from one is a sales lead for the other. We didn’t test either tool and can’t say how often that happens. It’s still a good reason to check a worrying result with a second detector before you pay to rewrite anything.

For a thesis or any graded work, the risk runs both ways. A clean JustDone score won’t protect you if your university’s detector disagrees; one reviewer says they paid about $30, submitted the paper and received a zero. A humanizer can also shift meaning or damage citations, and your institution may treat disguising AI text as misconduct in its own right, so read its policy first. Use the score as a prompt to reread your draft. It isn’t proof of anything.

JustDone AI pricing: the trial, the monthly plan and the annual plan

These were the prices on the pricing page on October 8, 2026, in US dollars.

PlanPrice shownWhat it adds up to
7-day Access$2.00Then $29.99 a month unless cancelled 24 hours before day 7 ends
Unlimited Monthly Plan$19.99 a month$239.88 over twelve months
Unlimited Annual Plan$9.99 a month$119.88 for the year

Twelve monthly charges after a trial come to $361.88 with the $2 included, against $239.88 for the monthly plan listed beside it. The page didn’t say whether the annual plan is taken as a single payment, so read the payment screen before you confirm. The small print quotes its prices excluding VAT, although the page’s FAQ says there are no additional costs.

“Unlimited” deserves a question too. Two recent reviewers say their unlimited plan came with a cap, and one puts it at 80,000 words. The terms we read don’t define the word. If you need volume, ask support for the limit in writing before you pay.

JustDone AI refund policy, and how to cancel

The Subscription Terms (last updated July 17, 2023) are blunt: purchases made on the website are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise. EU users get the statutory 14 days to withdraw, though agreeing to start the service immediately can shrink that to a partial refund.

So the cancellation is what protects you. The terms give two routes, your account settings or an email to [email protected], and four habits help:

  1. Cancel a trial at least 24 hours before the seventh day ends. Treat day 6 as the deadline.
  2. Keep the confirmation, or screenshot the settings page showing renewal is off.
  3. Expect to keep access until the paid period runs out.
  4. Check your card statement the following month.

We didn’t open an account, so we haven’t run the cancellation ourselves. These are the published terms as they stood on October 8, 2026.

One more date matters. The terms of use impose binding arbitration and waive class actions, and you can opt out only by sending a signed notice to [email protected] within 30 days of first using the service. Disputes fall under Cyprus law, and the company’s liability is capped at what you’ve paid it.

JustDone AI reviews: 4.3 on Trustpilot, with 1,272 one-star

Trustpilot showed 4.3 from 9,555 reviews on October 8, 2026: 6,721 five-star and 1,272 one-star. JustDone had replied to all 879 reviews Trustpilot counts as negative, typically within hours.

Here’s how those 20 newest one-star reviews break down:

  • 6 about detector false alarms or inconsistent scores.
  • 5 about technical or access faults.
  • 4 about billing or refunds: charges after cancelling, two charges in one week, no refund on a yearly plan.
  • 3 about being asked to pay to see a result they expected to be free.
  • 2 about limits on an “unlimited” plan.

Billing is a smaller share here than at Use.AI, where a $1 trial turning into $29.99 dominates the complaints. The pattern is related, though: a small first charge, then a larger recurring one. Brain AI uses the same structure with a weekly bill.

Is JustDone AI legit or a scam?

It’s legit. There’s a named company, public prices and terms, a large body of satisfied customers and a support team that answers every complaint. Nothing we found supports calling it a scam.

Pay with your eyes open. If you only want to try it, the $2 week is fine as long as you set a reminder for day 6. If you plan to stay, the monthly or annual plan costs less than letting the trial roll over. And treat the detector as a second opinion, never a verdict. We’ve also reviewed Undetectable AI, another detector and humanizer.

FAQs

Is JustDone AI legit?

Yes. It’s run by GM Appdev Limited in Cyprus, publishes its prices and terms, and holds a 4.3 Trustpilot score from more than 9,500 reviews. Our verdict is Caution because of how the $2 trial renews and the limits of AI detection.

Is JustDone AI safe to use?

It runs in the browser with nothing to install. Its privacy policy lists advertising and analytics partners, and we found no statement in it about how pasted text is stored, so don’t paste confidential documents.

How much does JustDone AI cost?

On October 8, 2026 the site listed $2 for 7 days and then $29.99 a month, $19.99 a month on the monthly plan, and $9.99 a month on the annual plan. Prices exclude VAT.

Is there a free JustDone AI checker?

The pricing page lists no free plan. Some reviewers say they could run a check but had to subscribe to see the full result. Assume you’ll be asked to pay.

How do I cancel a JustDone AI subscription?

Cancel in your account settings or by emailing [email protected]. For the trial, do it at least 24 hours before the 7 days end, and keep proof. Website purchases are non-refundable under the Subscription Terms.

Should universities rely on JustDone AI results?

No. Detector scores are estimates, JustDone’s terms don’t promise accuracy, and several users report human writing flagged as AI. An integrity decision shouldn’t rest on one score, and a clean score doesn’t guarantee your paper will pass another detector.
