Most job seekers should start with Jobright AI. It has a free tier, a 7-day refund window on a first monthly or quarterly purchase, and Datalevo rates it Verified. AIApply is a real UK company, but we rate it Caution: its Auto Apply bot fills in salary and work-authorisation answers for you, refunds close 30 minutes after an accidental purchase, and its add-ons can stack to $121 a month. Choose AIApply only if you specifically want a bot to submit applications, and then start on the $49 plan in Review mode.
This comparison is based on our full reviews of Jobright AI and AIApply, both checked in October 2026 (Jobright on October 9, AIApply on October 7). Neither publishes a public price page, so check the price shown in your own account before you pay.

Is Jobright or AIApply cheaper?
It depends on what you’d actually use, and neither shows a full price list before sign-up. Jobright’s pricing page returned Page Not Found when we tried it, so its figures come from other reviewers: Turbo at $17.99 a week, $39.99 a month or $89.99 a quarter. On those prices, 13 weeks on the weekly plan costs $233.87, while the quarterly plan covers the same stretch for $89.99. The weekly plan is the expensive one, and it has the shortest refund window.
AIApply’s own help centre lists Auto Apply at $49 a month for 100 applications, $99 for 250, or $199 every three months for 750. Tailored resumes and cover letters are $12 a month each, Premium is $29 a month and Interview Buddy $19. Taking the cheapest Auto Apply plan with all of those comes to $121 a month across five subscriptions, each renewing and each cancelled separately. AIApply also admits a weekly price sometimes shows on the platform as “only an illustrative breakdown,” not a real billing option. One reviewer described seeing €14 a week, then €171 due up front.
Which has the better refund policy?
Jobright, by a wide margin. Its refund policy, updated July 29, 2026, gives a full refund within 7 calendar days of a first monthly, quarterly or six-month purchase, and 24 hours on a weekly plan. An unintended renewal can be refunded if you contact it within 3 days and haven’t made substantial use of Turbo. Heavy use or a used coaching session can cost you the refund, and no interviews isn’t grounds for one.
AIApply’s fees are non-refundable unless a verified technical fault blocked the service, or you report an accidental purchase within 30 minutes and haven’t really used it. Once Auto Apply has submitted applications, there’s no refund, and renewals generally aren’t refunded either. In the 20 newest one-star reviews we read, ten were about money: unexpected renewals, refused refunds, charges after cancelling or a bill bigger than the displayed price.
Which is safer to let apply for you?
This is the biggest difference. Jobright autofills forms and tailors resumes, but our review didn’t find it answering sensitive questions on your behalf. Its risk is quality: one hiring manager said nearly every applicant arriving from Jobright had sent a near-identical resume. Edit what it writes.
AIApply’s Auto Apply submits answers in your name. Its salary article says that when a posting lists a US dollar range, the bot can replace your minimum with the job’s maximum. In AIApply’s own example, a $220,000 ask becomes $135,000 without asking you. Your work-authorisation choice at setup is reused for every right-to-work and sponsorship question, and one reviewer described applications claiming an authorisation they didn’t hold. The terms make you indemnify AIApply for misrepresentations. Review mode, which waits for your approval each time, avoids most of this.
What happens to your resume and data?
Jobright’s privacy policy names OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Cloud AI and Amazon Web Services as providers that process your input to run features. It lists ad networks and retargeting platforms among third parties, while also saying it hasn’t sold or shared personal information for a commercial purpose in the past 12 months. Our review couldn’t reconcile those two points. Data is kept no longer than six months after you close your account.
AIApply’s policy tells model providers not to train on your prompts and says personal data isn’t sold. It now creates “derived attributes” such as your field and qualification level, used to invite people to optional programmes. A related AIApply Labs page offers AI companies more than 2 million verified professionals for model-training work. AIApply doesn’t say that pool is its user base. You can object to the profiling by emailing [email protected].
On both, leave your home address, date of birth and ID numbers off the resume you upload.
Can you use both?
You can, but most people won’t need to. If you add AIApply to Jobright, keep it to the $49 plan in Review mode so nothing is submitted without your approval. Track every subscription and its renewal date, since AIApply bills each add-on separately.
Red flags to watch
- A “recruiter” claiming to hire you through Jobright, or asking for a fee. Jobright says it isn’t an employer or staffing agency.
- A low weekly figure on AIApply. Its weekly plans don’t exist; the largest Auto Apply plan is one $199 charge.
- AIApply’s cancel flow. It offers a 1, 2 or 3 month pause; nothing is cancelled until you choose “No thanks, continue cancelling.”
- AIApply’s bot keeps applying after you cancel, until the paid period ends, unless you press Pause on the Your Jobs tab.
- Employer replies to Auto Apply land in an AIApply mailbox. Export your emails and switch on forwarding while you still have access.
- Long written reviews of AIApply from rival tools. AIApply pays affiliates a 30% recurring commission, and competitors sell their own tools.
Which should you choose?
- You want matching, tailoring and autofill you control: Jobright, starting on the free tier.
- You want to test a paid plan with a safety net: Jobright’s monthly or quarterly plan, with 7 days to ask for a refund.
- You want a bot to submit applications for you: AIApply’s $49 plan in Review mode, after checking your salary floor and work-authorisation settings.
- You need visa sponsorship or have a firm salary floor: avoid AIApply’s Auto or Hybrid modes.
- You’re on a tight budget: avoid Jobright’s weekly plan and AIApply’s add-on stack.
- You expect guaranteed interviews: neither promises them.
